Dermolife Actives
Anti-inflammatory
Essential Fatty Acids
They are polyunsaturated fatty acids, Omega 3 and 6 families’ precursors.
They are “essential” because they define our quality of life, but our organism is unable to synthesize them. They therefore need be supplied to our skin and body.
Specifically:
- Linoleic Acid (LA), Omega 6 family precursor .
- Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA), Omega 3 family precursor .
The main source of intake is plant food, including seeds. Dermolife oils are extracted from plants with a cold process, to preserve its properties. They are very high in omegas, antioxidant vitamins, and minerals.
Moisturising
Hyaluronic Acid
Glycosaminoglycan, with water-binding function in connective tissue.
It performs several functions, depending on its molecular weight:
- skin MOISTURISING, creating a protective layer that reduces water evaporation.
- STIMULATING collagen production, responsible for skin elasticity.
- IMPROVING scar appearance, stretching and relaxing skin tissueo.
It is effective also for joints, improving their functionality and reducing pain.
All Dermolife products contain 3 different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, with a multipurpose activity for the human body.
Atni-oxidant and soothing
Vitamines A, B5, E
A correct intake of vitamins is essential for the control of young and mature skin.
Human skin is subjected to aging both for intrinsic (chronological) and extrinsic (environmental) reasons. The primary environmental cause of photo-aging is UV sun irradiation exposure. It causes reactive oxygen species (ROS) production responsible for oxidative stress.
Vitamins A and E avoid skin damages:
- PROTECTING dermis and epidermidis from oxidative stress
- FIGHTING lipid peroxidation
- MODULATING gland sebum production
- CONTROLLING melanin distribution and reducing face wrinkles
- SUPPORTING skin’s natural renewal processes
Vitamin B5 helps to maintain smooth, soft and healthy skin. It has a soothing and anti-inflammatory effects, able to contrast skin burning and itching.
